Several important updates & a meeting announcement.

Dear Timberlake Residents,

We have several important updates and announcements regarding upcoming meetings and recent decisions that impact our community. Your participation and attention to these matters are highly valued.

We mailed out a packet with a longer form of this information via USPS mail on Saturday, June 22nd. We expect that most residents will receive this information today. Below is a summary of the documents you will receive.

Special Meeting of Membership

The purpose of this Special Meeting is to discuss and vote on the payment of $29,316.00 for the annual premium of general liability coverage for the Association’s common property. This amount is proposed to be paid from the Reserve funds, which currently stand at approximately $36,578.00. If an alternative insurance provider is chosen, the amount will not exceed $30,000.00.

In order to open the common property we must have insurance in place.

  4. Tally of Ballot and Report Results
  5. Adjournment

Members in Good Standing are eligible to vote. If you have not yet paid your 2023-2024 assessment, please do so to ensure your voting eligibility. If you cannot attend, please contact any Board member to discuss your questions or concerns.

Recent Resignations and Board Vacancies

We regret to inform you that Matt Lloyd, former President, and Dan Hanson, former Vice President, have resigned from their positions on the Board. Current Board members will continue to oversee the Association’s administration and plan to follow the Bylaws to fill these vacancies promptly​.

Annual Meeting Recap (February 24, 2024)

During the Annual Meeting held on February 24, 2024, several key topics were discussed and voted on:

  • Budget and Financials: All budget measures were passed, and members up for election were confirmed. The Treasurer reported on the status of funds and ongoing financial reviews​.
  • Committee Reports: Updates included improvements to the lake management projects, publicity efforts, safety enhancements, and social events planning.
  • New Business: Discussions included proposals for deed restriction revisions and approval of events like the skateboarding race.

    1. Hello Dorothy –
      I am sorry that we missed your request. The beach was closed to due a lapse in insurance. The meeting this evening and the information that was sent out to the Association members gave a bit more detail. We are anticipating an open date of July 3rd but will not have that confirmed until after the meeting this evening.
