Luminaries for Christmas Eve

If you would like to be involved in making the luminaries that surround Timberlake on Christmas Eve, please meet at 68 W. Lake Shore Dr. (home of Chuck and Amy Henderson) on Monday December 21st at 7pm.

On Christmas Eve, December 24th, we will be setting out the luminaries around Timberlake. Please dress warm and meet at the beach at 4pm if you would like to help with this. Everyone is welcome to help!

Board Meeting Highlights

  • A preliminary budget for next year was mailed to all residents, if you have any questions about it please let a board member know.
  • A slate of nominees was mailed to all residents, if you are interested in an open position please let a board member know.
  • Save the date of February 8, 2020 (1pm) for the Timberlake annual meeting.
Every year, on Christmas Eve, we line the lake with luminaries. We do this in memory of friends and loved ones who are no longer with us. This is a time honored tradition which began many years ago when one of our neighbor families lost their infant child right before Christmas. It is both heart warming and beautiful. Even if you can’t help we would urge you to walk or drive around the lake after dark when they are lit.
